KVM
KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a virtualization module in the Linux kernel that allows the kernel to function as a hypervisor; that allows a host machine to run multiple, isolated virtual environments called guests or virtual machines (VMs).
QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and visualizer.
