Ubuntu - GPU - AMD GPU - Check which kernel driver is loaded

Check if an AMD GPU is being picked up.

lspci -nn | grep -E 'VGA|Display'

returns:

0c:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Navi 31 [Radeon RX 7900 XT/7900 XTX] [1002:744c] (rev c8)

If kernel driver is not amdgpu

If the amdgpu driver is not in use, follow the instructions at Enable AMDGPU Linux Driver.
