Ubuntu - GPU - AMD GPU - Check which kernel driver is loaded

lspci -k | grep -A 3 -E "(VGA|3D)"

returns:

0c:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Device 744c (rev c8)
	Subsystem: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd Device 240e
	Kernel driver in use: amdgpu
	Kernel modules: amdgpu

NOTE: This shows that the kernel driver is amdgpu.


If kernel driver is not amdgpu

If the amdgpu driver is not in use, follow the instructions at Enable AMDGPU Linux Driver
