====== PFSense - VPN - Use ExpressVPN - Download the VPN configuration files from ExpressVPN ======

VPN configuration files and certificate information needs to be downloaded from ExpressVPN.

===== Download the VPN configuration files =====

Navigate to https://www.expressvpn.com.

Click on the **My Account** Menu option.

Sign into your ExpressVPN account using your username and password.

Within **Set up your devices**, click on the **... More** option.

Click on the **Manual Configuration** option.

Select the **OpenVPN** tab on the right.

You will first see your **Username** and **Password**.  Make a note of these, as they will be needed later.

The **OpenVPN** tab will also display a list of OpenVPN configuration locations.

Download one or more configuration files for the locations you want to use.

For example **France - Paris - 1** is selected here.

The **OpenVPN** tab will also display the option of downloading a zip file containing Certificates and Keys.

Click on the link to download the zip file.
